Join our talented food and beverage team and uncover your hidden skills! Each weekend from February through mid April we’ll feature one of our talented team members for an afternoon of creative fun!
Chef John Shaw— featured on Fretz Kitchen, a TV showcase for the nation’s top chefs and a recent attendee at the James Beard House in New York City— will take you on a hands-on journey from the kitchen to our dining table. He’ll introduce you to some of our house specialties along with insights into some of Maine’s finest produce and organic ingredients. Or spend an afternoon with York County’s Best of the Best Bartender Lisa Wintle as she introduces you to some of her finest cocktails; a savory italian martini, a raspberry cosmopolitan or try a pineapple martini! We’ll also feature an afternoon of wine tasting, sampling some of the Best Hidden gems available in today’s wine markets.You’ll learn about what’s hot and what’s not!
The weekend starts on Friday evening with a welcome cocktail in the Pub with entertainment .Start the morning shopping in the area’s finest shops or simply relax at the Inn. In the afternoon, return to the inn for Your Epicurean Adventure; whether a cooking demonstration and tasting or a beverage sampling. You’ll learn recipe preparation and techniques.
