Each of the five room types is decorated in one of two ways – traditional New England inn style with rich linens and décor; or a more whimsical, beach cottage approach. Rooms in the Main Inn and adjacent Riverhouse offer a more classic feel with rich fabrics and antique furnishings.
Our Wharfside building rooms, located steps away from the Main Inn across Dock Square, feature quilts in light, bright colors and white, cottage furniture. Each room in our Kennebunkport lodging has its own delightful character and offers thoughtful amenities befitting the hotel’s casually sophisticated style. While guest rooms may vary in size, style and location all rooms offer the following amenities:

WHARFSIDE - WATERSIDE BUILDING
Wharfside Rooms
view photosCapturing the spirit of a Maine beach cottage style, Wharfside rooms are decorated in soothing seaside colors that create a fun and casual ambiance. Reflecting a more modern feel than the rooms in the Main inn, these rooms feature hardwood floors and white bead board furniture. Rooms are on the second and third floors of a walk up building located across the street from the main inn, so please ask Guest Services if you need assistance with your luggage. Parking is also available at the Wharfside building.
Wharfside Suites
view photosFor extended stays or large parties, a Wharfside Family Suite is large and spacious with standard rental style furnishings, large living rooms with sleeper sofas, kitchen facilities, and a private bath. Ideal for weekly rental, the Wharfside Family Suite is your opportunity for a relaxing vacation in spacious accommodations perfect for families.
Two Bedroom Suite, Room 400 - This suite offers two bedrooms, each with a queen bed, and a pull out sofa in the living room area and a single bathroom. Full kitchen and enclosed sun porch overlooking the Kennebunk River make this a great spot for an extended stay.
Two Bedroom Suite, Room 420 - This suite offers two bedrooms, one with a king bed and the other with a queen bed. The living room has a pull out sofa bed as well. The suite provides a single bathroom and full kitchen.
Three Bedroom Suite, Room 422 - This suite offers three bedrooms, each with a double bed, a living room/dining room combination and a single bathroom. The living area offers a wet bar, petite refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker.
*Due to historical nature of our buildings, we do not offer elevators onsite. Some rooms in the Main Inn and Riverhouse are located on the second floor of their respective buildings.
