Mansion Rooms

Beautifully appointed with rich floral and flame-stitch fabrics, the mansion rooms feature traditional white woodwork and moldings and private bath with tubs. These are classic elegant retreats with a queen or king bed, wing chairs by the gas fireplace and picturesque views of the village. Additional amenities include pillow top bedding, dual massage showerhead, luxurious bath amenities and I-Pod Docking Station Radio.

The spacious Federal rooms feature period antiques and reproductions with the relaxing ambiance of floral linens in rich jewel colors and private baths. A welcoming sitting arrangement provides an area to relax in your room. Additional amenities include pillow top bedding and deluxe bath amenities.

Riverhouse Rooms

The cozy Riverhouse guest rooms are brightly decorated in florals and jacquards. About one third less space than a Federal room; there is a smaller sitting area and a private bath with a shower. The Riverhouse is adjacent to the Main Inn, across the pool deck.

Wharfside Rooms

Wharfside rooms are directly across the street from the Main Inn. These rooms are located on the second and third floor of the building. Parking is available at the Wharfside.

Hotel Information

There is a $25 charge for a third person in a room. We also offer a number of special two, three, and four-night packages. Christmas Prelude and holiday periods have higher rates.

We accept Visa, MasterCard, and American Express. A deposit equal to 50% of the entire stay is required on all reservations. Deposits must be received within seven business days. Credit card numbers are accepted for advance deposits; however, please note that your credit card will be charged at the time the reservation is made. All deposits are applied to the last night of a reservation.

  • PLEASE NOTE: Above rates do not include a daily $5.00 Resort Fee.
  • Check-in time is after 3:00 p.m. (earlier if the room is available). Check-out time is prior to 11 a.m.
  • Our inn, including all rooms, dining rooms and Port Tavern are smoke free.
  • Directions to the Inn: Take the Maine Turnpike to Exit 19 [formally Exit 2] (Wells). Turn left at light after exiting toll booth and follow to Route 1. Turn left at traffic light at the intersection of Route 1, heading north on Route 1. Follow two miles and turn right onto Route 9. Continue for six miles. After crossing bridge, you will enter Dock Square. The Inn is straight ahead on the left, about a block away. You should see the sign on the left. Turn left into the driveway. Welcome!   • We are unable to accept pets. For your convenience, there is a kennel nearby.

Deposit Policy

We accept Visa, MasterCard, and American Express. For a multiple night stay or package, a deposit of half of the total charge is due at the time of booking. For a one night stay, the full amount is due as a deposit at the time of booking. Please note that your credit card will be charged at the time the reservation is made.

Cancellation Policy

Your deposit is refundable if you cancel your reservation before fourteen (14) days prior to arrival date <Cancellation for the Wharfside Family Suites is 30 days> (less a $25.00 cancellation fee) Should you need to cancel within the 14 day period, you will forfeit your deposit.
